1. Overview
This policy explains what RIVANNTO SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS FZCO collects when you use Loriva and why. Short version: we collect what is needed to make personalized stories for your child, we do not sell your data, and you can delete everything in Settings.
2. What we collect
Account data: your name and email from Apple or Google sign-in. Child profile data you provide: first name or nickname, age, interests, favorite animals, characters and activities. Story inputs: the situations and topics you describe (typed or dictated). Voice data: short voice recordings you make, and the synthetic voice created from them. Purchase data: your subscription status via Apple and RevenueCat (we never see your payment details). Basic technical data needed to run the app.
3. Children
Loriva is used by parents and guardians, not by children. We do not knowingly collect any information directly from children. Information about your child (such as a first name and age) is provided by you, the parent, solely to personalize stories, and is treated as your data: you can edit or delete it at any time.
4. How we use it
To generate your stories (scripts, images, video, narration, music), to screen topics for child-appropriateness, to run your subscription and story quotas, to narrate bedtime stories in your recorded voice, and to provide support. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
5. Processors we rely on
We use trusted providers to run Loriva, each receiving only what their job requires: Anthropic (story writing and safety screening), OpenAI (turning your dictated topic into text), fal.ai (image, video and music generation), Cartesia (voice cloning and narration), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (payments), Cloudflare (storage and delivery). If you use "Watch on TV", the finished video is uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries; where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention and deletion
Your profiles, stories and voices are kept while your account exists so your library keeps working. Deleting a story removes it. Deleting your account in Settings permanently removes your child profiles, stories, voice recordings and cloned voices. Voice recordings are used only to create your narration voice and are never used for anyone else.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the sensitivity of family data — including keeping "Watch on TV" videos unlisted and never publishing your content publicly.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the EU and UK or the CCPA in California give you specific rights over your personal data: to access a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to receive it in a portable format, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise most of these directly in the app: Settings lets you edit child profiles, delete stories and voices, and delete your entire account. For anything else, contact support@loriva.app and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Changes and contact
